Creating cell zone in fluent with separating mesh cells

Hello all,
I am creating a small cell zone in my bioreactor after my flow field reached to steady state in a mixing tank (turbulent multiphase system). The cell zone is used for feed addition to the system through a mass source term instead of making a modification to geometry and adding a feed inlet (nozzle). then mass transfer and reaction equations are solved. -Do I need to define momentum source term when I have a constant mass source term? For some reason, I don't get consistent results between different geometries (same bioreactor at different filling, or different volume). all the settings are the same but the values I get for the amount of feed entering the tank is different (with the same feed rate). Does anyone have an idea why this might happen? Could it be because of separating cells in fluent instead of when I create mesh or geometery? |
