Hello everyone!
I currently am modelling the spray from two impinging jets of different fluids. To do this, I am using the VOF-to-DPM model that ANSYS introduced a few years ago. Then, downstream, I have an outlet at which I want to collect mass flux data. However, by the time the flow reaches the outlet, not ALL of the VOF flow has turned into DPM particles. So I have a combination of VOF lumps and DPM particles at the outlet. I want a total mass flux plot. I currently have a DPM sampling set up, and I have a Custom Field Function that calculates mass flux for the VOF flow using the known density, mesh area, and volume fraction etc. As such, does anyone know how to: 1. turn the CFF VOF mass flux plot from an instantaneous contour to usable mass flux data. 2. combine the CFF flux with the DPM flux 3. output this mass flux as essentially an array (such as a 30x30 array) Thank you so much for the help everyone! |
