I am tracking particles through a closed volume using the k-epsilon turbulence model with enhanced wall treatment. Setting a y+ value of 1.0 I get a first layer thickness to use at the walls.
I have significant numbers of incomplete particles getting stuck in very low velocity cells next to the walls. Can I reduce the y+ value so that the first layer is thinner and the particles won't get trapped? I haven't found any documentation giving a minimum value of y+. Thanks, Jack |
