Hi all,
I'm doing CFD-DEM coupling simulation in a perforated rotary pan, and I did the simulation of particles only using an EDEM solver, the geometry was a perforated pan with four baffles, now I need to implement the coupling process, but still not confident on how to create the geometry in a way to be able to simulate the Airflow through the pan's wall (perforated wall). First, I have tried to use the same EDEM geometry (which is shelled perforated pan opened at the front) and adding an Enclosure to define the inlet and the outlet of the air while crossing the pan's wall, but I couldn't manage to mesh it!! Second, I have created a solid geometry (Not perforated and not shelled) with Enclosure assuming that the air will flow through a porose zone (pan' wall), but I failed to mesh it!! Can anyone advise on how to great the geometry for FLUENT simulation to get airflow through the pan (in & out) while rotating? Here is the geometry... Thank you in advance for your help!
