hi everyone
I want to know the difference between DEM and EDEM? since I have a thesis about modeling a vertical tube with particles ( 30% volume concentration). I should find place of the particle's concentrate grow up and control it with flow rate. I don't have any breaking and all particles have same shape. just need to estimate particles interaction for any sediment and control it. now my problem is, which way i must choose? DEM or EDEM? In this study, the four-way forces will be examined. to now, i search and find out when we have breaking or high concentration or difference shape for particles, must use EDEM or rocky ESSS. Now I want to make sure I can use DEM way.(Activate DEM tick in below section DDPM, true?) |
