which model should I use to simulate a basin of decantation?

Default which model should I use to simulate a basin of decantation?

Hi everyone,
I would like to know which model should I use to simulate a basin of decantation, so I can see the solides particules seperate from water. Should I use the VOF model and consider for the inlet a multiphase of water and slurry, or should I use the DPM model ?
