Hello all,
I have one inlet where a mixture of air and water is fed and flows over a porous filter where only a certain fraction of water is permitted. The remaining mixture of air and water passes over the filter to the atmosphere in one outlet and the second stream of water that passes through the filter exits at a lower pressure than the atmosphere to a second outlet. I have looked into using VOF and porous media for my filter but I cannot see any volume fractions of air on the top and water on the other side of my filter. The velocity and pressure data look fine to me if you would run the simulation without a multiphase flow. FYI: I am using an SST model and reasonable mesh quality so I haven't run into divergence issues and the solution convergences well. I believe there might be some errors with setting up the multiphase flow through the porous media. I would greatly appreciate some guidance on troubleshooting this problem. Thanks, John |
