HI,
I am doing a simulation on Gravitational Water Vortex turbine, where the geometry of the setup is attached below. Boundary condition that i want are such that on the right hand side is the mass inlet of water, and the top surface is open to atmosphere. So, i am getting into trouble as to how should set my above boundary conditions respond to on these two surfaces in 'Fluent'. Part II Moreover, when i tried as Transient solution, with 0.1in element size (for reference the inlet dimensions are 7in x 7in)[140k elements], adaptive time settings my continuity didn't converge at all even after reducing the URF to 0.3 for momentum where on the other hand all other residuals had gone below 1e-4. Kindly help me out here. Thanks basin geometry 1.jpg Last edited by khubaibbb; December 9, 2020 at 10:15. Reason: forgot to add picture |
