Dear all,
I am simulating a rotary kiln with particles as heat carrier and nitrogen as sweep gas. I used Fluent-EDEM coupling to simulate gas phase and particle phase. The coupling interface works well, and EDEM showed the connection between EDEM and Fluent. When I run the Fluent calculation, the EDEM slover automatically ran with Fluent. However, it seems Fluent only knows there are particles in EDEM. This particles were not linked to Fluent model. The particles' information were not transfered to Fluent injections, especially the particle locations. The console showed the following warnings during calculaton: "No DPM components registered. Solution has not been passed from EDEM yet. Injection 'edem-injection' has 0 particles 6829 Particles could not be located in Fluent. Done." Does any friend know what is the reason of this issue? and how to solve it? Any help will be greatly apprieciated! Best Regards GJ |
