Hello,

I want to use VOF model for a two-phase system (simplified case: a water droplet in air) where one of the phases has a species concentration (water droplet with a species concentration). The species doesn't diffuse in the other phase (air, D=0 ), but only in the water phase (D>0). By running a transient VOF Simulation in Fluent, the volume fraction of water doesn't change but the concentration volume integral increases (although the droplet doesn't diffuse in air!)-please see attachments. So I think this is a Fluent artefact of numerical diffusion. Does anyone know how to solve this problem in Fluent?

Thank you
