Hi everyone,
I want to write an UDF for the partial diffusion equation which I have, these PDE contains unsteady, diffusion, convective and source terms. I have no idea how to write a UDF/UDS for this governing equation. Can anyone helpme with that? |

Hi Vinay
Though I have not seen the equation you have but based on its physical components, i.e., transient, convection, diffusion, and source, you do not require a UDF. You may just enable a UDS in Fluent and that makes the equation available. UDF would be required, in addition to the UDF, if you want to specify some complicated relation for its source or its diffusion coefficient is affect by turbulence, or if the transient component is treated differently from standard conservation equations.
