Power1996 is on a distinguished road
Hi all,

I want to capture dispersed phase volume fraction versus time data in a droplet microfluidic device in order to apply fft (fast fourier transform) on it and find the dominating droplet generation frequency. I have used VOF model in my simulations and I can see the droplets are generated. I want to do a parametric study using DOE (Design of Experiment) in surface response.

Why I need this frequency, well, I want to set this frequency as an output parameter and monitor it in my DOE.

I was thinking about using UDF for this purpose, but as I am completely new with UDF world, I do not know about its functionality. This frequency is really important for my post processing.

I know that I can use cfd-post to plot dispersed phase volume fracion vs. time and use fft option to find its dominating frequency, but I cannot set it as an output parameter to monitor it in my DOE.

Could you please tell me the ways for setting this frequency as an output parameter?
