Dear All,

I have a Fluent model that has two parts: a part contains two-phase flow and another part with a single-phase flow. How can I model this problem in Fluent?

When I try to use different multi-phase models, fluent only give me the option to define different parts flow properties according to multi-phase definition, there is no option to assign a property to the single phase part!

Any help would be appreciated!

Within one simulation, your physics have to be consistent in Fluent. If you want to do different multiphase models in different regions, you need to run multiple connected simulations with fancy interfaces.

If you simply want one region to be a single phase, is it enough to use a multiphase model and fix the phase fraction at 1 or 0? Or do you need two different multiphase models?
