Hi everyone, i need to simulate two different fluids in ansys fluent using multiphase model.I selected multiphase and in that i selected mixture and also input the fluid in phase 1 and phase 2.I had done all these properly but in boundary conditions at a time only one fluid is working, other one is not working. ( Let me say for inlet 1 i m entering phase 1 and for inlet 2 i m entering phase 2 and again i m going back and seeing in inlet 1 it now changed to phase 2).Dont know why this problem arises.........There is something wrong in problem settings or something else. Please anyone help me to sort out this problem...........................Thank you

Hi,
Instead of mentioning Phase 1 and Phase 2, rename it. Also, it is slightly confusing in the beginning. You can ensure the two phase definition is correct by patching the volume fraction and visualising it in contours. Hope this helps. |
