Hello!
I use symmetry boundary in my model. Also I use Discrete Phase Model. When particles reach that boundary they reflect. But I need them to escape the domain. There are no DPM settings in window of symmetry b.c. So my question is how to set escape condition on symmetry boundary? Best regards |

Are you sure that you want a symmetry boundary condition if you are expecting particles to escape the domain at that location? If you think about it, physically what that would mean is that there is a mass sink at that boundary (because there is no other way for a particle to spontaneously "disappear" in the middle of a fluid unless there is a sink at that location). If this is what you want, you will probably have to write a UDF that accounts for particles disappearing from your domain at that boundary.
