Hello everyone as i am simulating a vawt using fluent there is moment, lift and drag coefficient, the problem is the peak of the Cm curve of one blade happens at the peak of Cd curve it should be happens at the peak of Cl cause darrieus vawt is "lift driven", so i thought that fluent can not catch lift at hight angel or attack at azimuth nearly 90 degrees because of the large separation, so i need more refinement;
or that fluent calculating lift from the center of the moment "rotor rod" so i should use UDF to define the new center that lift should be calculated " center of blade ?! Thanks in advanced |
