hello everyone

my title project is cfd investigation of the effect of process conditions on the heat transfer enhancement of CNT nanofluids. Hence, I need to do some sort of simulation involving multiphase of solid and liquid flow in a pipe. Have anyone of you did this? It would mean so much to me if there is any tutorial video related to thissssss

Not sure about the multiphase, likely you can find a video on youtube but for the solid particles, DPM can be used. Descrete Phase Moddeling introduces solids into the flow, by deafult particle-particle interaction is disabled unless you input through DEM (Descrete Element Method). I've read some papers a month ago and the author had to input a UDF to calculate the drag force on the particle depending on which phase of the flow the particle was in. Never done a UDF just started ANSYS 2 months ago.

Hope this helps.

Sure, ill do it soon, not sure how relevant it will be for yourself though it's on the study of erosion.

hello,
Are you done your Project? Im studying about nanofluids too and I have to do simulation about heat transfer of nanofuilds in pipe on ansys fluent for my master thesis. I want to do it multiphase but I dont know how to do this on ansys fluent. do you have an idea or tutorial about this. thank you in advance.

Not yet. Still struggling. Here is one of the tutorial that might give you some idea on how to do it. Hope it helps. https://youtu.be/nVrDczEjQpI
