Hello,

So I have a 2D channel with 3 inlets and 1 outlet. Two of the inlets are water and the third one is oil, while the outlet is a combination of both. Water is set as the main phase and oil is the secondary.

When time = 0, I would like to have the channel filled with both water and oil in different sections. And my understanding is that I first mark the area that I want the secondary phase (oil) to start with than patch it after initialization.

Since there isn't an option for me to patch the primary phase, I'd assumed it will automatically fill the rest with water but that does not seem like the case after running calculation.

Am I doing the marking and patching correctly? Could someone please give me a hand on this? Thanks!

Please let me know if any more information is required.

The primary phase fraction is always 1 - {all other fractions}. So indeed, to set the primary phase, just set the others accordingly and the primary one follows directly.
