convergence issues in gas-solid flow simulation in Fluent

I am trying to simulate gas-solid two phase flow in an 2D axisymmetric vertical pipe using two fluid model approach of Ansys fluent. I am using the granular PDE for the solid phase. As per the fluent manual first I am simulating the single phase (air) and then switching to two phase. Single phase simulation is converging properly; the mass flux criterion is also being satisfied. However the moment I switch on the solid phase the residual of granular temperature equation is not falling below 10^-03 and then the residuals of solid phase momentum are also causing problem even with a time step of 10^-06.
Any Help? Thanks |

I am facing the same problem with PDE for granular temperature. The simulation diverges. If you solved the problem, could you please guide me. Best |
