Dear all

I'm new to conduct one-way FSI using ANSYS.
I'm modeling one-way FSI using Fluent to calculate transient multi-phase flow in the pipe and the structural response of it due to hydrodynamic pressure.

I would like to check if my understanding is correct.
As I know,

1. to calculate structural response of pipe, I should use 'static structural' option.
2. I need to move cases of fluid calculation manually from Fluent to StaticStructural every step.

Can somebody tell if these understandings are correct or not? cuz there were explanations from others that one-way FSI requires manually-transferred load for key time step.
However, youtube videos I referred introduced only one transfer of data from Fluent solution to Static structure setup, not showing how they repeat this setting for every step. That's why I'm confused.

Is there any method using Transient structural instead of Static without need of repeating handling? My Fluent setting is transient.

Thanks very much.
