Hello guys
Good day.

I want to simulate gas-liquid-liquid three phase flow through pipes in ANSYS fluent.
i want to know that, the multi-phase models in fluent are capable of simulating three phase flow or not?
If yes, which multi-phase model should be used for simulations.

Your kind suggestions are needed

Yes, ANSYS Fluent can do three phase flow. The flow regimes are listed here and after you know your flow type you can choose a model here. Here is the relevant chapter from the user manual: here.

However please check literature as a good literature review for every problem possible is not contained in the ANSYS FLUENT manuals. An in-depth literature review on your topic of interest would save you a lot of time and ensure that your results are accurate and relevant. If you would like further assistance on choosing a good model, please describe your problem that you are solving.

Thanks for the guidance

According to the manual. The multi-phase model should be selected on the basis of flow regime. And the flow regimes are majorly dependent on the flow rates of the phases. In that case, the type of model should be changed with the change in flow regime??
