Hello
I am modelling gas injection into a liquid-filled cylindrical tank with a discrete population balance model (PBM) to model the bubble size distribution. There is also mass transfer occurring from the liquid phase into the gas phase, which I am modelling using a DEFINE_MASS_TRANSFER UDF. This mass transfer process should lead to an increase in bubble size. Will the population balance model automatically take into account bubble growth due to the intake of species from the define_mass_transfer UDF or will I need to define a separate UDF for bubble growth in the PBM specifically for the intake of mass into the bubble? Thanks Richard |

Hello Richard, If you got the solution please describe it.
