nkidol08 is on a distinguished road
I am trying to simulate a 2D fluidized bed using CFD-DEM approach using two different softwares one is open source software MFIX and other using Ansys Fluent 14.0. I am trying to compare the bed behavior in fluidized state from the two platform. MFIX results shows a circulation pattern with in the bed if I visualize it at a particular instant of time while the Fluent results shows distribution of particles throughout the bed for the same instant. I have used the same scheme and fluid time steps in both the softwares. Can someone guide me where am I making mistake.
