Multiphase Flow Fails after DPM Injections

I have attached the case file of the model I built. I'm finding it very hard to identify the problem in the model as the calculation starts fine with just the multiphase flow. But after DPM injections it gradually starts to fail. I tried w/o the DPM injection and the model runs fine forever. I also tried using series processing, low relaxation factors. Please any suggestion would be of help.

What you are doing here is attempting to couple VOF and DPM. Personally I haven't tried it but it seems you may have an error doing that. You should give Eulerian multiphase model a try. -BB |
