HELLO EVERYONE.
I'M TRYING TO SIMULATE TWO PHASE FLOW BOILING IN 3D GEOMETRY WITH WATER A WORKING MEDIUM (CYLINDRICAL GEOMETRY, ID=15 mm, OD=20 mm, LENGTH OF TUBE=1m).
I'm doing a transient simulation with gravity working in -z direction. I'm using Eulerian Multiphase model with RPI wall boiling model. K-epsilon model with Turbulent intensity and hydraulic dia specification method is used for viscous model. Velocity inlet and pressure outlet boundary conditions for inlet and outlet boundary conditions. Constant heat flux boundary condition on the external wall of the cylinder. Inlet volume fraction to the model is 0 while the liquid inlet temperature is 30 deg c. I'm specifying all phase interaction sub-model alongwith the Sauter Mean Bubble diameter.

With default URF, phase coupled simple Pressure-velocity coupling scheme and second order energy, Momentum and Volume Fraction spacial discretization scheme, my solution converges. However, the volume fraction of vapor continues to remain 0.

Would like to know where am i going wrong? Do i need to provide varying properties for the fluid? Kindly help.

Thanks in advance.
