Dear all
I am simulating a venturi scrubber. In which i want to scrub the gas and dust particles with water. I want to treat the SO2, dust and water in lagranian frame of refernce while air as eularian phase. My question is can we use DPM model along with multiphase model . Or we have to run it separately. I noticed that without using multiphase model, dpm model cannot be turned on. can we use both models simulataneously. regards; Atta |

I am simulating water with some small sand particle. i want calculate particle residence time. Please help me in this am struggling too much.
and for my transient case simulation, solution is getting converge but the thing is after the completion of one cycle(time period) am mot seeing any particles at the outlet. Still they will be traveled small distance from the inlet. In transient case all the particle should have to travel from inlet to outlet means what i have to do. whether i have to i increase the number of cycles or anything else. Please let me know its too necessary. Thanks. |
