Hi all,

I'm trying to simulate heat transfer to a phase change material. As can be seen from the attachment, there is an annular space for storage of the PCM (with air space at the top to allow for expansion) and hot fluid (glycol) flows though the center. The body is made of aluminium. I've initially practiced with 2 phase flows that involves direct application of heat to the PCM surface, but i'm a bit confused to how to approach this problem? I enabled the VOF model with 2 eularian phases and melting and solidification. However, under the cell zone condition for glycol, there is no drop down menu to specify glycol as material. Could it be that i should analyse this as a 3 eularian phase model (for pcm, air and glycol) even though there is no physical interaction between the glycol and pcm? If not, please i need suggestion on how to approach this. Thanks.
