Hi All,

I want to simulate air water interface in a domain, (water level is raising in the domain and the air is compressible fluid).

My domain is just a rectangle with left right bottom sides of the box are velocity inlets.

The velocity is applied as Vx and Vy components from bottom, left right boundaries of the rectangle. Top boundary is pressure outlet.

From the bottom boundary only water is entering (VOF of water is 1) from the left and right boundary the rise of water in the tank with i.e VOF of water is supplied as function of flow time and Vy.

The simulation is absolutely running fine from the VOF result is concerned. But when i plot the velocity contours of the mixture phase, there is some unphysical high velocity and pressure are getting developed near the right boundary just about the water level interface.

Can somebody through some light of what i am missing?....

Thanks in advance

Ramki
