Hello everyone.
I am currently facing a CFD-simulation and I have still uncertainties concerning the correct mixture modelling. As a geometry I have a gas mixer with a venturi shape. In the smallest area (in the middle of the geometry in axial direction) are drillings, which allow gas to enter the system. At the venturi inlet I have simple air sucked. I want to create a gas-air-mixture. I want to simulate the flow with the two different fluids (subsonic, Ma,max approximately 0.3-0.5) but am unsure about the correct multiphase model. I tried "mixture"-model, but that forbids the use of multiple (>1) compressible fluids. Do you have any recommondations on this topic? Any comment is much appreciated. Thank you in advance. Regards Dave |
