Hi there...
i want to simulate formation of bubbles (Taylor bubbles) in a microchannel with 2 inlets and 1 outlet. one of inlet is the entrance of air and others are entrances of water. i do these steps but i cant get the answer. after running it seems that air and water do not mix at all. any one can help me???? i am so grateful for any clue. these are my steps: define-models-solver-pressure based, implicit define- multiphase-vof-explicit,co number=.25 define material define phase-primary phase: water,secondary:air-interaction: check adhsion, surface tention=.072 BC inlet1(which is inlet of gas)-switch mixture-velocity magnitud=gas velocity-switch phase 2-VF=1 inlet 2 and 3 just like above with liquid velocity and VF=0 all walls-switch mixture-contact angle=50 solve-control solution solution intialization-with all initial values zero-init adopt-region-select the inlet of air-mark solve -patch-phase2(air)-VF=1-select adopt region-patch iterate with time step=1e-8 |

Hi,
Well I don't really know if my answer is relevant, but have you checked your surface tension value? It is under phase interactions. //Parisa |
