Hi
I am a beginner in Fluent. I am working on multi-phase (water and air) model where water and air are coming to a vessel from two different direction and different path. I know the mass flow rate at the inlets for water and air. In my case water is injected 7 seconds earlier than the injection of air. Is it possible to to provide any time delay between the two inputs? If it is possible , any help regarding time delay input will be highly appreciated. Regards Rakib |

If you want to get into doing it automatically you can write commands to turn on the air after so many time steps or you just run it with just the water for 7 seconds and then turn on the air manually.

Thanks Robert for your guideline. The second procedure would be easier for me compared to the other one. If I am not wrong, I guess for the automatic procedure you are referring to UDF (Define Macros).
