Hello.
Does any of You know what is "slope of liquidus line" under material properties in mixture? I see first time such parameter and have no idea what it means or where to get its value. Of course I've look into the manual but there is no explicit information about that parameter If it helps I want to simulate melting of 1.0038 and 1.4301 steel. |

The "liquidus line" is nothing CFD specific, it's to do with phase diagrams.
it's a line on a phase diagram for liquid/solid phase changes in a binary mixture of solids. it's basically like a dew point line, only for the solid-liquid phase changes. So i imagine you should be able to work out what the "slope of the liquidus line" is, from a phase diagram. Last edited by CFDYourself; May 24, 2015 at 13:30. |
