Agad15 is on a distinguished road
I am simulating water flow over gas cavity inside a channel (2D) with VOF. Due to the water flow over gas cavity, circulation (just like lid driven cavity with water acting as wall moving with velocity) should happen inside the gas cavity.

Does VOF can do this? I mean its a single fluid model. So does it generate flow in secondary fluid? I could not see any steamline forming vortices inside the cavity? Can anyone help?
