Hi,
I read a thread where I found Adapt>Region is used to patch certain cells in a multiphase model with volume fraction of secondary phase... Similarly can I define some area in my flow regime to act as porous zone... without creating surfaces or splitting of Faces in mesh stage???? I actually want to impose a viscous resistance on some part of my flow regime which needs porous zone for its inclusion Please help, |

I used DEFINE_PROFILE to define the porosity.. But In multiphase geometry can't we specify the Inertial Resistance in cell zone condition??

Hello,
I want to simulate water flow through porous media and I need to tracK water surface too. Do you have any idea about what will be appropriate solution methods and turbulence model for this simulation using VOF? I am also looking for some tutorials about VOF in porous media. Thanks for your time. Regards, Tanjina |
