Default Iso-clip time step updating

Hi all,

I am simulating a water droplet movement along an inclined plane. I am using VOF model for this. To get some results, I need to know XY plot of droplet velocity and position depending of flow time.

There is a possibility to export data and analyze frame-after-frame and find out the velocity, but I consider this option to be quite lengthy. What I intended to do was creating an Iso-clip surface, of volume fraction from 0.5 to 1. Then I created a Surface monitor, showing an Average of vertex values and Maximum X-coordinate within the Iso-clip surface.

The problem is, that while the droplet moves, the Iso-clip stays the same (maximum mesh X-coordinate is not changing). So what I need to do is make Fluent to update created Iso-clip every time step. Is that possible? Or, is there any different way to find out the velocity and position of droplet?

Thank you for your replies,

Have a nice day!

So I am going to answer by myself. I defined a Macro in /Calculation activities/Execute commands which computes an Iso-clip surface every time step. It seems to be working right yet.
