Hello,
I am simulating a closed tank which is completely filled with oil and water (VOF). This mixture is being produced by a well in the center. Since it is not possible to specify a volume flow rate as a boundary condition, I am using a negative velocity inlet. As you know, I have to specify the volume fraction of the secondary phase at a velocity inlet. Is it possible to avoid this? I want to produce both fluids (at later point in time) to see an increase in volume fraction at the outflow boundary over time. Please help me, because I am struggling with this problem a long time and I can"t use an outflow or pressure outlet boundary, because the only information given is the production/flow rate of the pump. Thanks in advance. |
