Hi,

I would really appreciate some help on this. I am modelling a slurry flow and I need to vary the sand concentration.

I was basically wondering the best way to do this, I was told to do concentration by volume but I think at the inlet (there is only one inlet). For 1% sand concentration I was going to use a surface injection at the inlet with a mass flow rate equal to 1% of the water mass flow rate, but this seems like a crude method.

Does anyone know the best way to do this? Thanks a lot.
