billy7590 is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone.
I am starting to work on a thesis which requires me to run CFD simulation of centrifugal pump that has cavitation issues at the inlet or eye of the impeller. I must use Ansys for this simulation.
As I am new in this field, I need to know:
1- Whether I need the geometry of only the impeller or should I use the complete impeller and volute casing assembly?
2- Is it possible to simulate this problem with 2 phase flow i.e nucleate boiling?
