Hi There, I am trying to simulate ventilated cavitation along with natural cavitation in Fluent V14.
I am using air as a non condensible, incompressible gas Equation to be solved are- 1) Flow equations 2) Turbulence Equations 3) Volume Fraction for Vapor (cavitation model) 4) Volume fraction for Gas Can I solve these equation using 3-phase mixture model (with cavitation model) or Do I need an extra UDF to solve gas volume fraction equation. |

Hi,
it is possible to simulate a third phase in a multiphase cavitation system, with some limitations, see at the bottom of the page: http://aerojet.engr.ucdavis.edu/flue...ug/node921.htm Daniele |
