Hi guys,
To better suit the project I am working on, I am trying to build the tutorial of 2D box falling into water from scratch, i.e. create the geometry and mesh file by myself. However, when I use a UDF with constant acceleration downwards, I get results like this: I have had compiled my own UDF with the tutorial mesh file and it had worked fine thus I do not think it plays a part in creating this phenomenon. (My UDF makes the box drop at -1ms^-2) Could anybody explain to me why this had occured? Why was there this bending phenomenon in the water and jetting at the left side? Did I miss out any steps when creating my mesh in gambit? |
