Hello all,
Well i am trying to do VOF with three phases i.e. slag, metal with oxygen impingement. Would like to know when initializing its asking for the oxygen and slag volume Fraction. I don't have any idea....i have use two phase with water and air having air fraction as 1 while water fraction as zero. in my previous simulations. But this i am totally confused. Would be thankful for your help. Regards, Smaras |

Hi Smaras,
You need to properly patch the regions of different fluid mediums and initialize them. Before starting with the computation you can plot the volume of fraction and check if correctly display the various fluid regions. Hope this helps. |

Well i tried patching them but still only getting the plane like phases at the interface of slag and oxygen in solution initialization and then patching it. Still not completely filled. Is there any way to do it? Would be thankful. Regards, Smaras |
