Hi everyone,
i'm trying to model on fluent the behaviour of a partially filled vessel engulfed by fire, so it' important to be able to predict the position of the interface between the liquid and the vapor phase and also subcooled boiling near the wall to the interface. For the interface i used the vof model according to literature, but for the boiling i have to build a udf. I think that the right wai is build a DEFINE_SOURCE for the energy equation but i don't know how is called the term of evaporating/condensing model coming from hertz-knudsen theory (m dot form l to v and viceversa). Can somehone help me?

Thanks
David
