Does any one know how to How to define velocity for the fluid in an interface between a solid and fluid part?I am going to model evaporation so I have solid wall adjacent to vapor chamber , so the input heat will result in vapor arise so it will have a velocity. I have to define one of the lines in the interface as a velocity inlet. But fluent wont let me to do this if I use form new part to connect my parts. In case that I am not forming the new part I will have problem with the threads in the udf! I can explain more in case that you are interested.

Hi Mahboobe
what is youre case ? do you want simulate vapor chamber(that use for cooling CPU &....) or traditional heat pipe( with wick).can you explain more?

Thanks for your attention , its for traditional heat pipe, I have already solved the problem. I split the spaces so its not defined as interface in fluent and I can choose velocity inlet boundary condition

I am interested. Can u kindly explain in more detail how you have solved your heat pipe problem.
