spur dikes with scours and particels - anything else?

Hello to everyone in this forum!
I was searching all around for some informations how to simulate a spur dike with a local scour but didn´t find anything yet. the tutorials doesn´t really help me, i did them several times (thought that i´m absolutely stupid...).
do you know how to handle that or could you send me some informations about that?
