Dear friends
I want to model a rotating paddle wheel that intract with water in a free surface pond. how can I model the rotation of paddle? how can consider the boundary between water and air? how can i mesh the non-uniform cylinerical fluid media? thank you in advance |

Do you intend to use FLOW-3D for this problem? it all sounds very doable with its general moving object and free surafce models. There is even an example on the web site http://www.flow3d.com/apps/wat/fluid...ydraulics.html

It is absolutely doable with FLOW-3D. In fact similar work has been done in the past before. Please check out the video below.
