I am a new user for flow-3d.
I worked with fluent and now I must solve a free surface problem with flow-3d.
I dont know anything about meshing for flow-3d.
What is a software like gambit for this work?
thanks

Hi flow-3d use free meshing instead of body fitted mesh as in Gambit. this free meshing got pro and cons as well.... it is easy to mesh & faster but if your geometry have larger aspect ratio (for example, the shape of F1 car) change then free mesh could be a problem.

hope this help

FLOW-3D uses it own mesh generator, which creates structured rectangular multi-block meshes. You cannot import mesh from outside.
