Hi,
does anyone know if/how it is possible to use velocity distributions (e.g. from measurements) as velocity boundary condition in Flow-3D. I could only find how to vary the velocity in time but not using different velocities at different locations of the boundary. thanks a lot in advance |

Hi,
I guess it will take many blocks and then slows down the simulation. The idea is, in case of a reservoir and a spillway, that you can use some measurements in the reservoir as boundary condition, so it is not necessary to model the whole reservoir. Maybe it is possible to edit the input file and give the coordiantes and the velocities? Has this been done by someone? regards |

Hi there.
As I know you could use planes or points to input different velocities but unfortunately I can't tell you how. I am going to master this. Regards. |
