Hi all,
the manual states that a video compression dialog box should appear every time a video is exported. In our case (Redhat Enterprise Linux 5.3, Flow3D 9.4) no such dialog appears and the video is exported with a commercial codec (mjpg). Is there a way to change this 'standard' codec? Best regards, Johannes |

No, on Linux there are no compression options. The GUI uses a program 'jpeg2avi' that basically stuffs the jpeg in the avi (there is no compression or decompression involved because the jpeg files are already compressed). The data is taken as is and put into an AVI file.
