Hello everybody,
I'm a student and doing a project about designing propeller, but i'm not sure which software is best for mesh grid a control volume ( a cylinder subtract with propeller shape) of propeller. I'm trying with Gambit, but i see it's difficult. Plese help me which software (Gambit,Gridgen,Grid pro)is most strong in mesh grid and web site for free download. Thank u. |

vsun,
I am not sure you will find a satisfactory answer to this question on the FLOW-3D forum unless you want to consider trying FLOW-3D for this work. Michael |

Thank u. I'm sorry, I posted in wrong topic. Can FLOW-3D solve my problem ? If FLOW-3D can do it, i'll try this new software.

it might. What exactly are you modeling? and air propeller or a water one? how many revolutions do you need to model?
