http://img2.imageshack.us/i/preprocessor.jpg/ Hi everyone I 'm try to learning flow-3D. I modeled like a flow from weir. And I found problem. After I did preprocessor the solid model has been changed. Somes wall of them disappeared. And I tried to run simulation. And the result showed that there was no that wall. Please see picture for more detail. Could anyone guide me what I have done wrong...... Thank in Advance |

Hi Attapon
I believe the wall presented here is a thin wall right? so, I suspect your mesh is not fine enough to resolve the solid wall eg: solid object needs a least 2 cells a long the thickness for good meshing. So, you may need to use fix point to ensure you have at least 2 cells along the thickness of thin wall object. Hope this help. |

Attapon, did you figure it out? Was it poor mesh resolution?
